In addition to my writings here, I’m also a leadership and executive coach. I help young leaders find themselves and veteran leaders explore new ways of leading with compassion. If you’re interesting in working with me, my first session is entirely free and with no obligation. I like my clients to know what they’re getting themselves into before they pay for any services.
I’m a father, an author, a pilot, a herder of cats, and a story listener. I’m credentialed through two prestigious coaching organizations–International Coaching Federation and Co-Active Training Institute. I spent a decade in the Marine Corps as an intelligence operative and martial art instructor and worked for two of the world’s most culturally rich companies at LinkedIn and Salesforce. Also, I’ve created software for law enforcement, the gaming sector, the airline industry, and in ed tech.
My philosophy is simple. People over everything.
I’m not a particularly fluffy coach. I’m direct, pragmatic, and I offer my clients what I see in the moment as we congeal my unique set of experiences with their read on their circumstance. I like how Jim Carrey frames it:
There’s a huge difference between a dog that will eat you in your mind and an actual dog that is going to eat you.
Now that we’ve covered imaginary dogs and cat herding, let’s see what we can discover together. Book some time, and we’ll talk soon.
